Central Ohio Association for Justice: Who and What are We?

We are an organization dedicated to seeking justice for all people, to preserving our constitutional right of trial by jury, to protecting the rule of law instead of the rule of the economically powerful, to protecting the judicial system that makes our country unique, and to upholding the rights and freedoms of all citizens.

We accomplish this by championing the cause of those who have been wronged, of those who are oppressed, of those who otherwise would have no access to our courts and by protecting the constitutional rights of those accused of a crime.

We promote public good by working to secure safe products, a safe work place and a safe community for our families. We also strive to uphold the dignity and honor of the legal profession, and we aspire to excellence in advocacy and to the highest profession conduct. We also are dedicated to educating the public about the operation and role of the least understood branch of government – the courts and judiciary.

We are attorneys who practice primarily in central Ohio and believe in and dedicate each day of our professional lives to the principles of our organization. Though we may practice in probate court, domestic & juvenile court, criminal court, or civil court, and though our sub-specialty interests may range from consumer law to employment law, from criminal law to tort law, from probate law to workers compensation, we are bound by one unique principle –

We are the voice of those who cannot speak, we are the bodies for those who cannot stand, and we are the champions for those who would not be heard.

If you need a referral to an attorney who stands for these principles and standards of conduct, please click on “Find a Lawyer”. We look forward to serving you and all citizens of Central Ohio.

If your community organization desires one of our members to make a luncheon presentation regarding the role of the judicial branch of government, please call Renae Davies, the COAJ Executive Director at 614-228-1017.
